2022
Idea born
Frustrated by the fragmented tools available to nonprofits, our team sketched the first DonorsBase wireframes with one goal: one platform that handles the full donor lifecycle without requiring a consultant to set it up.
2023
First beta
Ten pilot organizations helped shape the donor CRM, the receipts engine, and the first automated workflows, giving us real-world feedback before a single line of public marketing.
2024
Public launch
DonorsBase launched publicly with Stripe, PayPal, and Authorize.net integrated, a full donor CRM, campaign management, and a complete analytics suite — every feature included in every plan from day one.
2025
Donor portal
We launched the donor portal, giving every supporter a self-service home for their giving history, receipts, and recurring gifts. The result: fewer support requests for nonprofit teams and a better experience for the donors who keep their missions running.
