Connect a payment gateway

Connect Stripe, PayPal, or Authorize.Net in a couple of minutes so you can start accepting donations.

DonorsBase supports three first-class payment gateways — Stripe, PayPal, and Authorize.Net — and you can enable one or all of them. Connecting a gateway takes about two minutes and needs no developer.

Steps

Open Settings → Integrations in your dashboard.

Choose your gateway and paste the API keys from that provider's dashboard. DonorsBase validates the connection immediately.

Toggle the gateway on. You can switch or add gateways at any time without losing data.

Good to know

Card data is collected directly by the gateway using their hosted fields, so DonorsBase never sees or stores a card number.

Most gateways offer a test mode — use it to run a sandbox donation before going live.
